Wolf Series
While working on these small studies, the series unintentionally became symbolic of the Ukrainian crisis as I was watching the news at the time, and thinking about how wolf packs operate by protecting each member and working together as a social unit.
Unity: Maintaining pack order is essential to survival. Each member knows its role and place within the group, trusting the leaders to find food, shelter and preserve this essential structure.
Separation: Communication helps reinforce pack solidarity and draw members together that may have become separated from each other. Social howls are used to locate individuals and rally together.
Resolve: Once food has been located, the pack is strongly focused on the job at hand, to track down and kill their prey. This can only be achieved through the strong will and determination of all members.
